How to Get Godlys in MM2: Every Method Ranked

The Three Paths to a Godly

There are exactly three ways to get a godly weapon in MM2. Ranked from least to most reliable:

3. Unboxing (pure luck)

Godlies drop from crates at roughly 0.2% — about 1 in 500 boxes. At 1,000 coins per crate, that’s an average of ~500,000 coins per godly. Open crates as you earn (the shards from duplicates are valuable), but never plan around unboxing a specific item.

2. Crafting via Seer (slow but guaranteed)

The salvage-and-craft loop is the only guaranteed godly in the game:

  1. Salvage duplicate weapons into shards and metals.
  2. Craft up through the tiers (12 commons → uncommon, 12 uncommons → rare, and so on).
  3. Collect 20 Legendary Shards and craft Seer.

Seer is the cheapest godly, but it’s the recognized baseline of the trading economy — which unlocks path #1.

1. Trading (the real method)

Every godly above Seer is realistically obtained by trading up: start with Seer or a low-value godly, make small profitable trades, and climb. This is how players reach Chromas and eventually Ancients without spending anything.

Two rules before your first trade:

From there, the knife tier list and gun tier list show what’s worth climbing toward.

What About Events and Codes?

Seasonal events (Christmas, Halloween, Valentines) hand out limited weapons that often grow in value — always play them. Codes, on the other hand, are dead: no active MM2 codes exist, and the historical ones are listed on our codes page for reference only.
